The Managing Director, SM Jamal Uddin acquired the license in the year 1995 and named the brokerage firm as JM Exchange while he was investing a lot of his time and other resources in to the Textile and Garments industry, creating Base Textiles Ltd, a composite knit textile/garments factory with a work force of over 4000, where he later served as the Managing Director of the company.

Prior to that he not only graduated from Chittagong University in Bangladesh, but also went to attain a masters degree on industrial engineering from the Trinity University and College in Ireland. His directorship in the chamber of commerce of Chittagong, his activeness among the niche circles of influential members of the society and vast experience in the world of business helps us to grow and connect with every industry.

The Finance Director, Tasmia Jamal Isa, has had a long-term experience as well in working in the finance industry from banks, merchant banks and wealth and asset management firms in the United States of America, during and after her graduation from Baruch CUNY. She then went on to obtaining her Post Graduation, Msc in Finance and then returned to Bangladesh to work for WFP of UN. After which she also had the opportunity of being employed by Sena Hotel Development Limited, a Bangladesh Military project, that operates with Carlsons’s Radisson BLU, as the Head Of Administration.

With the well-rounded work experience, Tasmia brings the rules and regulations of the business to implementation and creates policies to secure the funds of the clients creating ways for the business to be more transparent, reliable, efficient and professional.

The Director of Operations and Marketing, Tahmid Jamal Diaz, has been involved with Base Capital Ltd since the name change in 2010 and has experienced all the bullish and bearish trends of the market on scales that were both devastating and ultra profitable. He is currently studying in University of Essex while maintaining his commitment to Base Capital Ltd and emphasises highly on relationship management.

With innovative and creative approaches, backed up with market research, his vision is to spread Base Capital Ltd not only across the nation in as many cities, towns and villages but also across the border all over the world. The goal he seeks is not only to build relationship with the clients, but also envisions the clients to be able to avail the brokerage facility from where they find comfort.
